Five photo etchings on copper 9x12" each, 2004. When standing on the beach at high tide the moon is always near the horizon. When the monn is at its zenith it is always near low tide. When the moon starts to rise from the horizon the tide will start to fall and when the moon begins to set from its zenith the tide will start to rise. By knowing the moon's position one can estimate the tide. The native Americans in this area always explained the tide changes this way.
