Professional:
Owner and founder of Cape Fear Press established in 2001, a traditional etching studio specializing in traditional photogravure and photo etching processes with an emphasis on technical innovation, safer working methods and materials.
• In addition to supplying the Puretch photo etching resist and gravure papers CFP also supplies a small line of specialty products specifically needed for photogravure and other photo intaglio processes. Jennifer has also been producing hand-made analog aquatint screens and s custom dye-based grayscale inkset for printing continuous tone digital transparencies.
• Jennifer also makes plates for other printers and has produced photo etched plates for artists such as Richard Prince, Lorna Simpson, Robert Motherwell, Peter Max and a photogravure plates for John Shearer and Bleu Acier. She has also been a technical consultant for many established photographers and printmaking studios for photogravure and custom digital output.
