The 2009 Big Print Block Party on Cape Fear Blvd. Carolina Beach, NC was the first steamroller printmaking event ever held in the Southeast US. Major thanks to Mike Houston and Martin Mazorra from Cannonball Press who came down the first year from NYC as our featured Visiting Artists and showed us the ropes. The knowledge they shared that day would eventually spread throughout the southeastern print communities and beyond. Steamroller printmaking events are still being held in the county by UNCW, CFCC and independent print groups.

I have updated the galleries so please check them out. You may see some pics you haven't seen before, some CB architecture that no longer stands and also some dear faces that are no longer with us.
